AITAL is an association that represents companies operating in the aluminium surface treatments sector (anodic oxidation and coating treatments) and companies providing products or services to this industry. It has about thirty-five of the most representative anodic oxidation companies in the sector and TECNOAL is one of its oldest members, with its membership dating back to 1995.
TECNOAL, in order to maintain and promote the quality of anodised aluminium, has the QUALANOD quality mark issued by QUALITAL, the Institute of the Industrial Certification of Aluminium and other materials. The mark establishes product quality requirements and monitors compliance on licensees' anodising systems. To this end, a technical directive has been drawn up to which all anodising companies with the quality mark must adhere. It provides not only that the finished products should have certain characteristics but also that the anodising processes are managed in an optimal manner. These prescriptions are universally recognised today.
UNI EN ISO 9001 and UNI EN ISO 14001
TECNOAL has always been aware of the problematic issues of the chemical processes for the environment, and so has put environmental protection among its priorities. For this reason, TECNOAL integrated its Quality Management System (UNI EN ISO 9001) in January 2005 with the UNI EN ISO 14001 certification, an international standard defining the environmental management of the company system.
